Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and assist students in achieving their full potential.
Overview:
- Title: Teaching Assistant
- Pay: £83.50 per day minimum
- Location: St Mellons, Cardiff
- Hours: Full time/Part time, - Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a Teaching Assistant
- Helping bridge the gap for learners where English isn't their first language
- Work in partnership with other members of staff to support the learners in their care
- Supporting the class Teacher with the planning for the lesson
- Support learners individually, in small groups and on a full-class basis
- Engage learners with both classroom and outside-classroom activities
- Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies
The candidate: What you'll need to be successful a a Teaching Assistant
- Registration as a School Learning Support Worker with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
