Job Title: Surgical First Assistant (SFA) - Major Ortho Scrub Nurse

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) with an additional major orthopedic scrub skillset, including experience in Total Hip Replacement (THR), Total Knee Replacement (TKR), Total Shoulder Replacement (TSR), and upper/lower limb surgeries. This is an ongoing placement with approximately three shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a Surgical First Assistant during major orthopedic procedures, providing expert support to the surgeon in complex surgeries.

Use your major ortho scrub skills to assist in procedures such as THR, TKR, TSR, and both upper and lower limb surgeries, including hands and feet.

Ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly prepared and managed, maintaining the highest standards of surgical care and patient safety.

Position Details:

* Work Pattern: Approximately 3 days per week, 08:00-18:00

* Rates:

* Day Rate: £40.00 per hour

* Saturday Rate: £44.00 per hour

* Sunday Rate: £48.00 per hour

* Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

* Qualified Surgical First Assistant (SFA) with additional experience in major orthopedic scrub nursing

* Extensive knowledge of major orthopedic procedures, including THR, TKR, TSR, and upper/lower limb surgeries
