We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to work for our client based in Biggleswade who are a leading provider of precision sheet metal fabrication services. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of brake presses and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Typical hours: Mon - Thurs (7:00 - 16:30) & Fri (7:00 - 13:00).

Main Duties:

* Set up and operate brake presses to form sheet metal into specified shapes and sizes

* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.

* Ensure quality control standards are met.

* Maintain and clean equipment.

* Follow all safety procedures.

The Successful Candidate:

* Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator.

* Strong mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

* Good problem-solving skills.

* Attention to detail.

* Ability to work under pressure.
