INNOVATIVE AEROSPACE PROPULSION ENGINEER - WEST MIDLANDS

Lynx is representing an engineering firm in Lichfield to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a pioneering team. Successful candidate can expect to quickly be developing next-generation propulsion systems for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace propulsion systems and components

* Conduct detailed engineering analysis and performance optimization of new designs

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements

* Develop prototypes and oversee testing procedures for new innovations

* Present technical designs to stakeholders and participate in design reviews

* Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and standards

Requirements:

* 5+ years mechanical design experience, aerospace industry preferred

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

* Expert knowledge of SolidWorks and simulation tools (FEA/CFD)

* Strong background in thermodynamics and materials science

* Hands-on engine/powertrain development experience

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
