7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVER

PM SHIFT: MONDAY - THURSDAY: 10.30 - 21.30

                  FRIDAY: 09.30 - 20.30

                  SATURDAY: 07.00 - 18.00

£12.71 PER HOUR 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client based in Cheadle on a temp-perm basis.

You must undertake a DBS Check for this role.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 7.5t Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• House delivery of furniture and white goods
• You will be doing around 30 deliveries per day around the North West
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipment and mileage
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a 7.5t Driver you will need to:

• Must undertake a DBS check
• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
• Hold a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicles
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
• Must be able to speak and read good level of English
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience dealing with customers

Training

• Driving Assessment to be completed before starting
• Full training will be provided for this role after successful assessment
