Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Transport Manager to oversee the daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our clients using the company fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

* Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships, addressing client transport needs and resolving any issues quickly.

* Scheduling: Plan, organise, and optimise transport jobs to enhance efficiency.

* Invoicing: Ensure accurate recording of transport charges and prepare client invoices.

* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the delivery team, stepping in to drive when needed.

* Route Optimization: Analyse and improve routes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.

* Stock Oversight: Manage goods in/out processes, ensuring accuracy in stock records.

* Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Requirements:

* Driving License: Must have a valid license with 7+ years of driving experience and be able to operate Luton-sized vehicles.

* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management abilities.

* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Problem-Solving: Effective under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.

* Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

* Enthusiasm: Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
