I am currently working with a London Borough in their search for an experienced Social Care Brokerage professional for 3-month initial interim contract to join their brokerage team to support with their adults and children's social care agenda.

PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for this position you must have past brokerage experience within a local authority setting.
 
Your duties as a Brokerage Officer:
 
You will work across the children's and adult social care service, ensuring effective purchasing arrangements for approved care and support plans from needs less assessments.
 
This is across brokering of older people and children's residential homes, children's foster homes, adult home care and supported living.
 
As part of the team, you will accurately maintain records and system work, monitoring allocations and placements across social care, supporting time discharges from hospital where needed and negotiated fees in conjunction with advice and support.
