Senior Estimator - South East

Evaluate tender documents, prepare accurate cost estimates, and submit tenders and quotations. Maintain good customer and supply chain communication providing advice and guidance. Seek out new market and customer opportunities and secure workload to meet targets

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Liaise with Operational and QS staff in quote/tender preparation where necessary.
• Ensure contract requirements and terms and conditions do not place the company at risk.
• Participate, as required, on selected quality submissions and similar.
• Interrogate performance on Contracts against estimate and propose improvements to systems and procedures.
• Cost allocated tenders and quotes

Maintain regular communication with selected customers to establish:

• Prospective works
• Position on financial submissions.
• Early notification of awards

Generally, promote the company in a professional and courteous manner to achieve preferential information and treatment.
