9-5 Monday to fridau (could consider 4 days per week for the right candidate, salary Prorata) 

We are currently recruiting for our well established client based in Northolt who are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join the business.

Your responsibilities will include full ownership of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank accounts and petty cash accounts and managing the payroll. You will report into the Financial Controller and assist in ensuring the finance team provides timely and accurate monthly financial information to the directors.

This role would be helping to support the team as a Senior, so somebody with a supportive touch and good leadership skills is a must! 

Experience working with Sage 200 accounting software and strong knowledge on Excel is desirable!!

Senior Finance Assistant duties:

• Manage and support the accounts assistants with AP processing and reconciliation
• Responsible for ensuring bank account transactions are accurately processed
• Ownership of credit card processing and reconciliation
• Responsible for preparation and booking of monthly intercompany charges
• Dealing with accounts queries from Customer Services Team
• Responsible for accurate processing and reconciliation of various merchant transactional services
• Ownership of quarterly VAT submissions, payment and reconciliation for one legal entity
