OVERVIEW: MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
We are currently seeking a mechanical engineering professional to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of qualifications, for a well-established training provider.
The Mechanical Instructor role will require you to be involved in teaching, coaching and mentoring young learners undertaking L3 qualifications. You will be a time served Mechanical Engineer / Fitter with bench fitting experience and hold a level 3 or above in engineering.
Ideally you will have experience delivering qualifications in mechanical engineering in a previous role, and will possess either an Assessor's Award or a teaching qualification (PTLLS or above).
THE ROLE OF MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR:
To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility. Training learners in the centre towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
* Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within mechanical engineering
* Good communication and presentation skills
* Experience of working with young people
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: MECHANICAL INSTRUCTOR
* Level 3 (or above) occupational qualification in engineering
* Assessor Qualification- A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent
* Teaching qualification
* This position is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance
