We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a village school with fantastic outdoor facilities. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are looking for a friendly and supportive environment. The position involves teaching a mixed Year 5/Year 6 class and offers competitive pay, pension contributions, and ongoing professional development.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a mixed Year 5/Year 6 class.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils, promoting progress.
  • Utilise the school’s excellent outdoor facilities to enhance learning experiences.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages pupil participation and engagement.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
  • Participate in ongoing CPD to further develop teaching skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching KS2, with the ability to manage a mixed Year 5/Year 6 class.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
