We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs at a nurturing and inclusive school in Bootle. This role focuses on working closely with one specific child, helping them overcome challenges, access the curriculum, and thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with SEND, focusing on their individual needs.

* Assist with daily classroom activities, ensuring the child is fully engaged and supported.

* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement the child's Individual Education Plan (IEP).

* Support the child's social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior and self-confidence.

* Adapt resources and materials to ensure the child can access learning at their own pace.

* Foster a positive, encouraging environment where the child feels safe and supported.

About You:

* Experience working 1:1 with children with SEND (desirable but not essential).

* Patience, empathy, and a calm approach.

* Strong interpersonal skills to build a trusting relationship with the child.

* Ability to adapt and respond to the child's individual needs.
