Salary: £35000/annum

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of operational and financial responsibility to contract manage one of our major customer contracts. In this role you will be part of our senior management team driving the company forward by working with your teams to provide an excellent customer focused service. You will have overall responsibility for your teams budgets and for the delivery of daily operational activities, ensuring all contractual key performance indicators are consistently delivered in line with client expectations.

This role is significant to help assist with the company in its growth aspirations. The role will also involve resource planning, ensuring that operations are in line with budgets and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage operations and employees, ensuring customer satisfaction and issue resolution.

* Understand customer requirements and align operational capabilities to consistently exceed KPIs.

* Financial oversight of departmental budgets, producing regular cost reports.

* Ensure employee training meets required standards through coaching and development.

* Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 standards.

* Maintain and update standard operating procedures.

* Optimize resource allocation to meet contract and budget needs.

* Drive continuous improvement while managing costs.

* Provide productivity reports aligned with customer KPIs.

* Ensure top-tier stock control and inventory management.

Key Qualifications:

* Proven experience in fast-paced warehouse/transport logistics and operational management.

* Strong customer focus with leadership and analytical skills.

* Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001.

* Ability to work under pressure and deliver high standards.

* Team-building skills aligned with objectives and KPIs.

* Understanding of financial reports and P&L.

* Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems.

* Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments.
