Role: Management Accountant

Permanent: Part-time 4 days a week

Our client is an exceptional award-winning Digital Agency who have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant. This is a new role playing a crucial part in supporting the financial management of a £15M billings agency. This role will be responsible for providing accurate financial, management accounts and reporting all regulatory requirements. The MA will be joining a team of 2.

Key Responsibilities as Management Accountant will include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accrual, prepayment, journal posting, P&L and balance sheets.
• Tracking variances budget/reforecast and providing insights for financial planning.
• Reconciliation on billing, revenue and media payment
• Review and analyse the overhead cost posted by finance office manager.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
• Assist FD in annual filing and audit requests.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, such as Paprika, to streamline accounting processes

Key Attributes of the Management Accountant:

• Paprika experience is not essential but highly desirable
• A part qualified or finalist accountant ACCA/CIMA/ ACA
• Strong balance sheet experience (WIP/Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations)
• Good understanding of WIP & Revenue
• Experience in preparation of management accounts in a creative agency (PR, Advertising, Design, Digital)
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player and excellent communication skills
