PSV Technician

Monday to Friday

Day Shifts - £45,000 to £50,000

Night shifts - Negotiable

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PSV Technician to join our client's team. As an PSV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles to ensure their safe and efficient operation. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on PSVs, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in PSVs

- Conduct inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions

- Undertake Servicing and MOT prep

- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems

- Solder and repair wiring connections

- Fabricate or modify parts as needed

- Conduct heavy lifting as required for repairs or maintenance tasks

- Dig into engine components to identify and fix problems

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour time

Skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge of PSV systems and components

- Proficiency in equipment repair techniques

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

- Capability to handle heavy lifting during repairs or maintenance tasks

- Experience in fabricating or modifying parts as needed

- Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping

Package:

* Salary: £45000-£50000 doe
