About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Birmingham. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance, and testing. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who has a passion for delivering high-quality electrical work and is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in both commercial and residential settings.

* Conduct electrical inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.

* Perform EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and PAT Testing as required.

* Identify faults and carry out repairs to ensure minimal disruption to clients or site operations.

* Complete relevant certification and paperwork in line with current standards.

* Work to a high standard of safety, ensuring all work complies with the latest BS 7671 regulations.

* Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members.

Requirements:

* 2391 (Inspection and Testing) certification is essential.

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.

* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.

* Experience in commercial and domestic electrical work.

* Full UK driving license (as you will be required to travel between sites).

* Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.

* Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

Desirable:

* Previous experience carrying out EICR reports and PAT Testing.

* 17th Edition qualification (if still valid).
