Salary: Basic rate £12.35 per hour, up to £14.35 per hour with enhancement

Position Details:

* Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

* Schedule: Working 3.5 days out of 7 on a rota, including alternate weekends.

* Shifts:

* 3 x 10hr shifts: 07.30 - 18.00

* 1 x shorter shift: 07.30 - 12.30 or 12.30 - 18.00.

Salary Enhancements:

* Night Enhancement: An additional £1.50 per hour from 8pm to 7am, Monday - Sunday (excluding sleep-ins).

* Weekend Day Enhancement: An additional £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

About : Our Clients care home located in Sandbach, Cheshire. They are looking for an experienced Cook to join their great team.

Role Responsibilities:

* Deliver a varied menu that is healthy and nutritionally balanced, meeting specific dietary requirements for residents.

* Work within an agreed budget, ensuring an efficiently run kitchen.

* Supervise staff assisting in food preparation.

* Maintain exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness, meeting Health, Safety, and other regulatory requirements.

* Provide catering for functions and special events, bringing creativity to our celebrations throughout the year.

Requirements:

* Experience working in a kitchen environment.

* A recognised catering qualification (Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and additional HACCP accreditation, or Level 4 Food Hygiene Certificate / commitment to work towards).

* Flexibility to work within rostered hours.
