Nursery Deputy Manager

£40,000/year

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join our nursery. This is an office basked role, but you will need to be able to cover in the rooms and the kitchen, when necessary. This setting is open all year round, with closures on bank holidays and two weeks over Christmas.

Responsibilities:

Provide safe, High-Quality Care and Education for the children aged between 3 months and five years on a daily basis.

To take responsibility for opening and closing procedures of the Nursery

To ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and up to date.

To assist the Nursery Manager with the smooth running of the nursery.

To supervise the Curriculum Planning & Learning Journeys in accordance with the EYFS across all rooms in the Nursery

Create and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education

Live close to the setting

Experience in a senior nursery position (Minimum 1 year)

The right to work in the UK
