Learning Support Assistants for EYFS & KS1 - Eastbourne

Role Overview:

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Eastbourne
Start Date: September
Key Stages: EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) & KS1 (Key Stage 1)The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
A passion for supporting young children in their learning and development
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff
A proactive approach to supporting children's educational, social, and emotional needs
An understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and best practices for early years education

Contract Details

Location - Eastbourne
Position - Teaching Assistant/Learning Support assistant

Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp to Perm
Full time/part time - Full and part time positions available
Minimum rate of pay - £13.96 per hour
Hours - 8:30 - 16.00

Experience, Training and Qualifications

GCSE's or equivalent
Minimum 1 year working with children
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
