We are seeking three experienced and motivated Exams Officers to join our team at the Buckinghamshire College Group. These are full time positions, and the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of exams, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting both students and staff throughout the exam process.
Given the nature of this role, the successful candidates should be capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks under pressure. Each position may involve working at a campus by themselves, requiring a high degree of responsibility and self-sufficiency.
We are looking for:
1 x Aylesbury
2 X Wycombe (sometimes based at Amersham)
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage the administration of exams, including scheduling, venue management, and invigilation coordination.
- Ensure compliance with exam regulations and security protocols, including the proper handling and storage of exam papers.
- Communicate exam schedules, instructions, and regulations to students, staff, and examiners.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of exam materials.
- Provide support to students, including addressing queries and ensuring the integrity of the exam environment.
- Handle the post-exam processes, including results collation, data entry, and submission to relevant bodies.
- Deal with any issues that arise before, during, or after the exam, including resolving conflicts or concerns.
- Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Exams Officer or Exams Administrative role within an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, especially under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of exam regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage the exams process with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and examiners.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exam integrity.
- Proficiency in the use of exam management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant technologies.
