Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a knack for keeping things running smoothly? Academcis are working with a vibrant school who are seeking an Assistant Premises Manager and help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities: - Support the Premises Manager in the day-to-day upkeep of the school's buildings and grounds
- Assist with site security, including locking/unlocking premises and responding to emergencies
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and health & safety checks
- Help set up and dismantle equipment for school events and activities
- Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
- Cover for the Premises Manager as required
What We're Looking For: - Hands-on experience in maintenance or site management (experience in a school setting is a bonus)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy school environment
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
