Our client, a prominent company in the insurance sector, seeks an ambitious Subsidence Sector Leader. Reporting to an Executive Director, this leadership role requires a professional with expertise in subsidence claims management and business development to drive the growth and development of our client's subsidence proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise market contacts to shape and build a subsidence proposition.

Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a strategic growth plan in the subsidence sector.

Engage with Client Directors and Managers to improve client positioning.

Review and enhance current subsidence business operations.

Act as a focal point for sector-specific inquiries and provide mentorship.

Develop and manage new subsidence practices and propositions.

Analyse and report on management information (MI).

Prepare for and assist with surge management.

Coordinate and develop webinars and presentations.

Lead business development efforts to raise our client's profile in the subsidence sector.

Build relationships with key personnel in insurers, MGAs, brokers, and risk managers.

Secure and retain client nominations through active management.

Participate in tenders and presentations.

Train and mentor insureds, brokers, and insurers.

Ensure performance against client SLAs, claims lifecycle, reserve accuracy, exception reports, audits, QA measures, indemnity savings, compliments, complaints, and customer feedback.

Manage a portfolio focused on subsidence claims.

Provide operational oversight and management of adjusters handling subsidence claims.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant technical qualifications in subsidence and have strong experience in business development and subsidence claims management. They should demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, along with a proven track record in building relationships within the subsidence field. The ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time while managing multiple deadlines is essential. Additionally, a willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland is required.
