Sellick Partnership are currently looking to appoint a Business Support Manager for our Public Sector client in Birmingham.
Role Purpose:
- To lead and manage a team within Business Support Services
- To take a lead operational responsibility for operational coordination
- Main responsibilities for the Business Support Manager
Key responsibilities for the Business Support Manager:
- To ensure high quality, responsive, fit for purpose, and efficient Business Support
- To be an effective business partner, ensuring robust relationship management
- To ensure service availability is responsive to agreed standards and evidenced demand
- To ensure high quality leadership and management of designated teams
- To ensure allocated budgets are effectively managed, monitored, and compliant
- To ensure effective governance and compliance and quality approaches are established and implemented
- To lead, provide and embed a service which is responsible for investigating and coordinating queries, compliments, and complaints in a timely and high-quality fashion
- To review and identify proposals and solutions which will improve service performance, customer engagement and customer satisfaction
- To enable the resolution of governance and performance issues,
Person Specification for the Business Support Manager:
- Experience of direct planning, managing, and monitoring of resources
- Experience of successfully managing and implementing service improvements to previously agreed standards
- Experience of managing and monitoring budgets
- Knowledge of performance management principles
