Nursery Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000

Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to lead a dynamic team in a nurturing and supportive environment? Our client, a well-established nursery, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations and inspire excellence in childcare.
You will lead by example, fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0-5 years. As the Nursery Manager, you will champion best practices, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and support staff in their professional growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification: Level 3 in Early Years or above
- Experience: Proven experience in a Nursery Manager role within a nursery setting.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Passion for Early Education: A passion for early childhood education and the ability to inspire others.
- Communication Expertise: Excellent communication skills, both with staff and parents.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in early years education.
- Operational Experience: Experience in managing budgets and operational planning.

Your day-to-day
- Child Safety and Development: Oversee the care, safety, and overall development of children within the nursery.
- Team Leadership; Lead and motivate the nursery team, conducting staff assessments, organisng training, and maintaining high standards of practice.
- Parent and Carer Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, encouraging engagement and communication.
- Activity Planning: Plan and implement group and individual activities to meet children’s needs and development goals.
- Ofsted Excellence: Aim for and maintain an outstanding Ofsted rating by developing and executing strategic plans.
- Policy Implementation: Stay updated on early years' developments and implement relevant policies and practices.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations at all times.
