Description

Financial Accountant

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Prepare financial management reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Manage and coordinate budget and financial forecasts.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficient understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
• Proficiency in use of accounting software and experience with a software system implementation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
