We have teamed up with a privately-owned group operating in bespoke joinery and construction, looking for a permanent Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis. They have ambitious acquisition plans offering a clear path to progress and you will play a pivotal role in leading the financial operations and help drive growth trajectory.Role Overview:Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage a team of two accounts assistants while handling a range of accounting responsibilities.Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare management accounts and perform financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and CIS regulations.
• Act as a key business partner, providing insights and financial guidance.
• Improve processes where needed. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE accountant with a strong background in manufacturing or construction.
• Hands-on experience in financial management and leadership.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• A proactive, ambitious mindset aligned with a fast-paced, growth-oriented business.
