Academics LTD is working closely with a specialist school in Reading that provides high-quality, personalized care for children aged 5 to 18 with SEN. We are seeking a Special Needs Specialist who is compassionate, positive, and ready to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with external practitioners and psychologists
• Supporting students in developing emotional regulation and social skills
• Working with children with a range of needs, including Autism, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, and communication difficulties
• Demonstrating a genuine interest in working with children or in SEN

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience alongside qualified professionals, ideal for graduates or anyone considering a career in psychology, teaching, or mental health. No prior experience is required, though recognized qualifications such as a Degree or Level 3 qualification are an advantage.

Role Details:

• Position: Special Needs Specialist

• Salary: £83 - £95 per day (depending on experience, qualifications, and client rates)
• Contract: Long-term temporary, with potential for a permanent position
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
• Experience: Desired but not essential
