Interim Senior FP&A Manager | VC backed SaaS | 6 Month FTC

The Client:

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a rapidly scaling SaaS Start-Up who landed a significant Series B fundraise earlier this year. With a headcount that has grown to 140, they are now looking to establish an FP&A function which will further supercharge their growth plans.

Since their inception 5 years ago, they have developed a market leading SaaS product which is used across the Financial Services space and have already established a significant client base. Working with Blue-chit household names, they operate on a high value low quantity model which has seen the business create long lasting relationships with their clients.

The Role

Reporting into their talented CFO, this role is especially well suited to an experienced commercial finance professional who has previous experience building a function from scratch. This opens up an opportunity to drive commercial performance in a business partnering capacity, working with talented leaders across the business. In this 6-Month contract position the Senior FP&A Manager will develop advanced financial models to support strategic decision making, take ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes, and support the business in their transformation from Xero to NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to guide investment decisions, strategic initiatives, and scenario planning.
• Ad-hoc projects for the VP of Finance and CFO.
• Develop processes & systems to monitor business health and lead on the preparation to deliver financial reports to the SLT.
• Evaluate and advise on the implementation of FP&A Systems.
• Support the implementation of NetSuite.
• Manage the FP&A Analyst.

Essential Experience

• 5+ years experience in FP&A and 2+ years experience as a manager.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a Software-as-a-Service business and a strong understanding of the SaaS business model.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to manage upwards.
• Passion for Technology and an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Bonus Experience

• Experience in a start-up or scale-up.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred but not essential.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £80,000-£100,000 (Pro rata) - open to Day Rate also.
