Network Engineer – Remote - £#removed#pd outside IR35 – Immediate startOverview:We are partnering with a global brand seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for a short-term engagement. The company is moving to SD-WAN, in this role, you will be responsible for installation and configuration of Prisma across several sites and the subsequent knowledge transfer.   Role & Responsibilities:

• Configure Prisma as part of their SD-WAN implementation
• Test and troubleshoot complex network issues, providing resolutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless network operation
• Manage and optimize GlobalProtect for secure remote access
• Monitor network performance and security logs to proactively detect and mitigate potential threats.
• Develop and enforce network security policies aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards
• Evaluate new networking technologies and solutions, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
• Providing training and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Prisma Access and SD-WAN solutions
• Palo Alto Firewalls: Hands-on expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls
• Network Security & Troubleshooting: Strong understanding of network security best practices, firewall rule management, and troubleshooting network-related incidents across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Cloud Networking & Secure Access: Experience with cloud-based security solutions and integrating network security within cloud environments
• Global Protect skills - desirable
