Overview of the Role:

The Projects Supervisor will be primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective professional services and building fabric projects throughout this major shopping centre in Peterborough. This role involves working closely with the Technical Services Manager, building surveyors, and client-appointed professionals to deliver commercially and operationally realistic solutions to site-specific issues.

Your responsibilities will be:

* Assisting the Technical Services Manager in managing and supervising all building fabric repairs and maintenance projects, while maintaining high site standards and compliance with statutory requirements.

* Collaborating with third-party professionals to deliver best practice, value, and quality in all site-specific building repair, maintenance, and construction matters, ensuring clear communication lines are established and maintained.

* Overseeing the design, delivery, and cost management of the implementation and updating of the Planned Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPMP), and establishing a project reporting schedule covering cost management, program, and resources.

This role offers the opportunity to:

* Work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the timely delivery and quality of all project works and developing innovative solutions for building fabric projects.

* Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals and stakeholders to achieve operational excellence, while attending technical services meetings and providing input on all on-site projects.

* Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring value for money and compliance with all statutory and site-specific requirements, and providing technical support to staff, tenants, service providers, and contractors as needed.

The right candidate will be:

* Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related technical subject with at least two years' experience in managing and overseeing the maintenance and repair of complex, multi-faceted, and multi-tenanted retail operations.

* Knowledgeable about the built environment industry and key factors affecting it, skilled in managing maintenance contracts, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

* Excellent in managerial and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, able to work on own initiative, and experienced in people management, including technical and personnel development, with a comprehensive understanding of legislative health & safety requirements.
