Description
- Ensure all tasks are undertaken within the spirit of the Institute's purpose and values.
- Significant relevant experience of JavaScript, Python, Django (must).
- Support our data environment and ensure all data flows between systems are accurate.
- Provide support to staff on all systems.
- Ensuring the security of the software design. This includes implementing robust security policies and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for handling and managing data.
- Continuously seek to expand a range of skills in accommodating changes in the wider data access and technical landscape.
- As required by the Head of IT Services, undertake tasks that relate to accessibility, attendance management and learning management system quality standards.
- Maintain and support Office 365 environment (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams etc).
- Use all IT systems appropriately and effectively, to include SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
Profile
Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 certfication
- Post Graduate degree in IT
- ITIL certification
- Full stack developer certification preferred
Experience and attributes
- A thorough understanding of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and work positively with a wide range of people, including national and international stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data management and data integrations between systems.
- Experience with documenting code changes
