JOB TITLE: Assistant Accountant

COMPANY: Manufacturer

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm

START: ASAP

SALARY: Up to £32,000pa

LOCATION: Fordingbridge

The role:

The role will primarily be responsible for the maintenance of the purchase ledger and sales ledger as well as the reconciliation of the bank accounts
Inputting large volumes of invoices in multiple currencies (c. 500 per month)
Reconciling the company credit cards;
Preparing the fortnightly payment runs;
Preparing the monthly payroll;
Assisting the Management Accountant in the preparation of the Management Accounts.What You'll Bring:

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities;
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to ensure all deadlines are met;
Experience of working with multi-currency accounts would be an advantage;
Ability to challenge existing processes and implement improvements;
