A leading international law firm requires for an eager and committed European Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join their team in London.

The firm are looking for an energetic and proactive self-starter who enjoys a varied mix of business development and marketing activities and who will perform all tasks with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm’s clients, lawyers, advisors and staff. The role holder will report to the European Business Development & Marketing Manager and work closely with other members of the Marketing and Business Development team in London and the U.S.. You will support and assist various business development efforts and initiatives for a number of European practices and lawyers, with an emphasis on core Corporate practices and primarily the firm’s growing Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity team. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the successful execution of both individual and practice business plans, gathering business intelligence and research, supporting targeting initiatives and creating tailored pitches and credential documents. On the marketing side, the European Business Development & Marketing Coordinator will be involved in the drafting of key directory submissions and will also provide support in the planning and execution of multiple client events and seminars.

The ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with outstanding interpersonal skills and proven experience in a similar marketing or business development role within a professional services environment, ideally a law firm. Flexible and reliable, the European Business Development & Marketing Coordinator will possess a strong ability to work effectively across various projects and assume new challenges while maintaining stellar attention to detail. Previous experience with content related to M&A/PE, capital markets, finance or financial services, real estate, litigation and restructuring will also be highly advantageous.
