Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm; Friday, 8:00am - 2:30pm

Tool Maker required to join a leading Manufacturing company in the Cumbernauld area, ensuring all tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for press tools and CNC equipment are operating efficiently to support seamless production process. The Tool Maker will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and improving these tools to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Repair and maintain press tools and dies, including regrinding and routine servicing.

* Attend breakdowns to identify faults, problem-solve at the press, and ensure swift recovery.

* Evaluate whether tooling can be repaired on-site or requires relocation to the tool room for further maintenance.

* Manufacture new tooling and spares to support ongoing production needs.

* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to execute precise tooling repairs and improvements.

Requirements:

* Time-served as a tool maker.

* HNC or Level 3 Diploma in a relevant field.

* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
