Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Technician to join our dynamic construction team. As a Structural Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction, and maintenance of our structures. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that the structural integrity and safety of our projects are upheld to the highest standards.

As a Structural Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of structural designs, creating construction drawings and models, conducting inspections and assessments, and providing technical support to the engineering team. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that our projects are executed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

* Assist in the development of structural designs and create construction drawings and models

* Perform calculations to determine the strength and stability of structures

* Conduct inspections and assessments of existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements

* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects

* Prepare reports and documentation related to structural analysis, design, and inspections

* Attend project meetings and provide technical support and expertise

* Stay up to date with industry advancements and technological innovations in structural engineering

Requirements

* Associate's degree in Structural engineering or related field

* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structural Technician in the construction industry

* Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software

* Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices

* Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations

* Strong communication and collaboration skills
