Fire and Security Service Engineer

Location: Midlands

Salary: Up to £35,000

Job Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, days

Engineering @ 365, recruiting on behalf of our market-leading client in the fire and security industry, is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join their team. This role involves carrying out servicing of fire and security equipment across the Midlands, with occasional small works included.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine servicing and maintenance of fire and security equipment such as fire detection and alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting CCTY and various other safety/security systems,

* Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and meets safety standards.

* Diagnose and repair faults in fire and security systems.

* Complete small works and installations as required.

* Assist with system commissioning

* Provide technical support as and when required to other staff members.

* Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and concerns efficiently.

* Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

* Attend Call outs (out of hours on rota)

Requirements:

* Previous experience in servicing fire and security equipment.

* Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.

* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Good communication and customer service abilities.

* Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.

* Full UK driving licence.
