SEMH Science Teacher | Redbridge, East London | ASAP Start
Remedy are working alongside a secondary SEMH provision that are seeking a qualified KS3/4 science teacher.

As a Science Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for creating engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of our diverse student population. You will work closely with our team of educators to provide a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality science lessons that engage and challenge our students
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to ensure they are achieving their full potential
- Establishing positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
- Using a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of our diverse student population
- Supporting students with additional needs, such as those with SEND or those who are EAL learners
- Participating in regular professional development to improve your knowledge and skills as a Science Teacher
The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant degree in science or a related field
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS)
- Experience teaching science in a secondary school setting, ideally with students who have additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the classroom
- A passion for science and a desire to inspire and motivate our students to achieve their full potential
