A field-based territory sales role promoting a leading range of roof tiles and pitched roof building materials into national house builders, regional developers, local authorities, housing associations and roofing contractors across the South Central and South West area.

Package: £45k-£55k basic with a circa £15k OTE, £7k car allowance and an excellent corporate benefits package that includes pension contributions matched to 10%Territory: Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Gloucestershire and South WalesProducts: Roof tiles and pitched roof building materialsCustomers: National house builders, regional developers, local authorities, housing associations, roofing contractors and building / roofing merchants

The Role - Area Sales Manager:

  • Promoting a leading range of roof tiles and pitched roof building materials
  • Tracking and winning projects with national house builders, regional developers, local authorities, housing associations and roofing contractors
  • As well as developing the relationship with a network of merchants that your projects will be back-sold through
  • You will inherit a portfolio of accounts to account manage, develop and win business from, as well as being expected to prospect and win new business opportunities
  • You will access to a CRM, lead generation software, and colleagues in other divisions to piggy back and share leads with

The Successful Applicant - Area Sales Manager:

  • You will be a field sales professional with a consultative and structured approach to solution selling
  • You are likely to already be working within the construction industry and looking to progress your sales career
  • Although my client will also consider graduate calibre field sales professionals from other business-to-business sectors
  • Either way you will be equally as comfortable developing existing relationships, as you are identifying and winning new business
  • Whilst possessing first class presentation and communication skills, and be looking for a career and not just a job
