We are excited to offer a career opportunity with a family-run Food Business in the FCMG Industry for a Multi skilled maintenance engineer.

Role Overview:

As a Multi skilled maintenance engineer, you will play a full-time crucial role in maintaining and repairing plant equipment efficiently.

Working alongside the engineering manager, assisting projects. Helping create a safe and compliant environment, with added commitment to safety and quality.

Role Responsibilities:

• Fault finding and undertake diagnostic procedures.
• Attending all mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair all plant equipment.
• Maintenance and general upkeep of plant equipment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience in FCMG or food industry (packages are beneficial)
• Electrically qualified with a competence in multi skilled engineering.
• Understanding electrical drawings with a balance of electrical and mechanical skills.
• Able to work within a team or on your own.
• Ability to manage conflicting workloads.
• Updating planned preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ability to identify troubleshooting system failure and hazards.
• Understanding of Fluid Power systems and drawings
• Understanding of Health & Safety Policies.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday days
• Earlies and lates with some weekend hours (with paid overtime) as required.
