Employment Services Director

As the Employment Service Director, you will play a pivotal role in strategically growing and enhancing our employment support services. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for driving strong performance, ensuring that we meet and exceed commissioner-led targets, and leading a team of over 80 dedicated staff across multiple sites to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 80+ staff across multiple sites, ensuring high performance and achievement of programme targets.

Oversee core services, including IPS in Primary Care, IPS in SMI, and Employment Advisors in Talking Therapies, while ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with commissioners, health providers, and employers to expand our reach and impact.

Implement and uphold quality assurance standards, safeguarding measures, and robust governance practices.

Monitor budgets, identify cost efficiencies, and achieve financial goals within agreed parameters.

Collaborate with Business Development on tendering for new services and retaining existing ones.

Skills:

Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a proven track record of leading large teams to success.

Excellent financial management skills, with the ability to monitor budgets and identify efficiencies.

Effective communicator and public speaker, with strong report writing and marketing capabilities.

Skilled in building strategic partnerships and influencing key stakeholders.

Proficient in using technology to enhance service delivery and effectiveness.

Ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
