Press Brake Operator needed in Telford, Shropshire.

This is a great opportunity for a Press Brake Operator to join a long-standing manufacturing business located in the heart of Telford.

This is working a day shift Monday to Friday and the job comes with an attractive pay rate up to £14.00 per hour (dependant on experience).

The hiring manager would like someone who has previous experience operating a Press Brake, preferably an AMADA.

What You Will Do

• Operate an AMADA Press Brake, ensuring high-quality output.
• Load and check programmes as per job sheet, selecting the correct materials.
• Perform quality inspections of parts using equipment and gauges to ensure they meet tolerance requirements.
• Work from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards.
• Maintain and clean equipment to ensure its optimal performance.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining an organised workspace.

What You Will Bring

• Experience operating a press brake, with Amada machines experience beneficial.
• Ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A positive attitude towards learning and development, with setting training provided if required.
