Job Title: SHEQ Advisor - Renewable Energy Company (North of England)

Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York, and surrounding areas

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + £400 Car Allowance

Position: SHEQ Advisor

Job Description: Reporting to the HSE Manager you will support the business and the SHEQ Manager in delivering projects safely, without any ill-health risk to personnel whilst protecting the environment and ensuring the quality of the services that we deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the SHEQ Manager and Directors by installing a positive culture and continual improvement.

* Implement plans and show initiative to improve SHEQ performance.

* Compliance with ISO standards and internal processes.

* Maintain supplier and sub-contractor approval lists and accreditations.

* Assist in developing SHEQ software for better compliance and user experience.

* Conduct internal audits according to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

Requirements:

* Background in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in the utilities sector.

* Knowledge of legislative requirements and best practices, specifically CDM regulations, working at height, and electricity at work.

* NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent and TechIOSH.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to problem-solve and think outside the box.
