QA Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript Playwright) London / WFH to £65k

Do you have experience of testing front end web applications with TypeScript and Playwright?

You could be progressing your career at a market leading FinTech that provide real-time web connectivity market data and trading services to investment banks and other financial institutions worldwide.

As a QA Test Automation Engineer you'll join a small, Agile development team to provide testing expertise as the team transition from manual testing methods to more use of TypeScript and Playwright. You'll provide testing expertise to the development team, pushing back where necessary to drive the adoption of test automation. You'll develop automated front end test cases to test new functionality and enhance test coverage, you'll also perform some manual and exploratory testing to effectively identify issues prior to release.

Location / WFH:

You'll be able to work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the London office once a week.

About you:

• You have test automation experience using TypeScript combined with Playwright or Cypress
• You're comfortable reading code to identify errors
• You understand the architecture of systems under test and can work out root causes
• You're happy to carry out some manual testing whilst working to increase test automation coverage
• You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills
