A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!

With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

Suggest improvements to projects to drive efficiency, capability, and safety.
Conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across the plant.
Changing motors, contactors, electrical control panel faults, fault finding and electrical installation
Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Involve planned preventive maintenance activities alongside reactive maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting relay control circuits.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

18th/17th desirable
Good knowledge of electrical engineering and strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting.
Level 3 in relevant discipline
Food / FMCG industry experience
