Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Dundee

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOQ)
Hours: 40-hour working week
Location: Dundee

We're looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Dundee. The role involves the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems, including split AC units, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You may also work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck systems, or ice machines.

You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of manufacturers, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Midea, Toshiba, and LG. A strong understanding of installation designs and manufacturer-specific troubleshooting procedures is beneficial, along with the ability to seek technical support when needed. You'll also be responsible for completing work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping detailed inspection reports and records of remedial work.

What We're Looking For

* A full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in an on-call rota

* Confidence in handling manual tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to use a PDA or similar handheld device

* A self-motivated, problem-solving mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team

* Experience in Maintenance/Facilities Management

Essential Qualifications & Skills

* FGAS & ODS regs certification

* Time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent

* Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe working systems
