EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting skilled Electrical Wireman to join an exciting company located in Wolverhampton, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

Key Benefits on offer:

* £19.22 - £24.40 per hour including shift allowance, depending on experience

* £15.50 - £20.80 per hour depending on experience for basic Days

* Shifts: Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 3.30pm and Fridays 7.30am to 3pm on Fri

* Potential requirement to work Morning & Afternoons rotating - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm pattern

* Overtime available at premium rates

* 33 days annual leave with the opportunity to accrue 5 additional days

EMBS Engineering is in partnership with an innovative engineering company located in Worlverhampton belonging to an internationally recognised, market-leading business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

Your responsibilities include:

* Arranging electrical components within control panels and on equipment frames, including specialised machinery and frame-mounted parts

* Installing cable management systems such as trays, trunking, and conduits, ensuring adherence to industry safety and quality standards

* Conducting necessary testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations

* Operating hand tools, power tools, and crimping equipment according to industry standards, while coordinating with internal teams to fulfill project needs

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience wiring control panels and field wiring

* Ability to work using own initiative

* Worked within an engineering / manufacturing environment

* Experience working on special purpose machinery, large control panels, bespoke units / components would be preferable

Desirable:

* 18th Edition Electrical Safety Certificate

* Experience working on MEWP, PASMA, Harness, Forklift, Scissor lift, Scaffold inspection
