Barchester's fantastic internal communications team have a new opportunity for an Internal Communications Executive to join us on a permanent basis. This key role will be vital to understanding and communicating to senior leaders across the business how our portfolio of 250 care homes and hospitals should be managed, in line with our quality and commercial goals. You will build relationships with our Senior Management Team to fully understand the expectations around the management of our premium care homes, and update our management handbook. We are looking for an experienced, confident internal communications candidate, with excellent organisation and creative skills, who enjoys a challenge and is looking to progress their career.
With a rapidly expanding portfolio of care homes and hospitals across the UK, this role is key to ensuring the delivery exceptional service to residents and patients at more than 250 sites across the country. We will look to you to develop and maintain robust processes that will support our management team to deliver fantastic care.

Required experience and qualifications:
2 years experience in an internal communications role within a large, complex organisation
Demonstrable experience in maintaining and editing websites and/or intranet systems
Excellent creative skills, including copywriting and visual content creation
Ability to develop good working relationships with senior management
Strong organisation skills, including a good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
Role and responsibilities:
Act as the internal communications lead for progressing The Barchester Way content
Build relationships with senior stakeholders to understand current best practice, and maintaining a content tracker to ensure appropriate actions are taken
Create engaging and creative content for internal messaging
Update our intranet
Conduct regular audits of The Barchester Way content to ensure it's always up to date and accurate
Support with future improvement projects across internal communications
