***WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR***
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, and securing the warehouse. A Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence would be an advantage.
Salary £26-29K depending on experience
Key responsibilities for the Warehouse Supervisor include,

• Ensure smooth running of the warehouse
• Manage and guide a small team of warehouse operatives
• Hold daily staff briefings
• Liaise daily with clients regarding stock queries
• Generate delivery notes when orders are completed for dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock records
• Responsible for the operation and safe use of forklift equipment
• Ensure safe working practices

The ideal Warehouse Supervisor will need the following,

• Previous experience in a similar Warehouse or Stores Manager role essential
• A Reach or Counterbalance forklift useful but not essential
• Professional verbal/written communication skills essential
• Have previous experience of communicating regularly with customers
• Good IT skills required
• Be physically fit and able as the position requires being on your feet most of the day
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential, free on-site parking
