Production Planner

Cinderford, Gloucestershire

Permanent Position

£34,000 - £38,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner for an Engineering Company based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire

Responsibilities:

• Plan production orders to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Release Production orders and book in when complete
• Issues Plan to shop floor to show forward load and required dates,
• Report KPI performance metrics monthly.
• Communicate accurate planning information to internal customers
• Assist with the identifying and justification of improvement projects.

Skills required:

• An engineering background in manufacturing
• Demonstrable people management experience.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels within the business.
• Highly numerate with competent IT skills (MRP/ERP).
• Knowledge and practical experience of the manufacturing techniques including Lean techniques.
