About the role: Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a meaningful difference in their learning journey? Join us as a SEN Teaching Assistant on a daily supply basis, where your adaptability and expertise will help unlock the potential of students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

In this role, you'll work across a variety of settings:

• SEN-specialised schools.
• Additionally Resourced Provisions (ARP).
• Mainstream schools supporting SEN students.

You will assist children with needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), challenging behaviours, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a dynamic and varied position ideal for someone flexible, proactive, and eager to make a positive impact.

Application Requirements:

• Have experience working with children with SEN in an educational or care setting.
• Be knowledgeable about ASD, MLD, SLD, challenging behaviours, or SEMH.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo one.
• Be flexible and adaptable to work on a part-time, short-term basis.

Key Responsibilities: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 support or lead small group interventions to support learning and behavioural goals.
• Assist with personalised learning plans for students with SEN.
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to monitor and evaluate student progress.
• Use creativity and empathy to adapt lessons and support individual student needs.
